What is the quarterly close?
The quarterly close is the monthly close that ends a quarter: 00:00 UTC on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1. The March, June, September and December monthly closes are also the quarterly closes.
When is the Bitcoin yearly close?
The yearly close is 00:00 UTC on January 1, when the December 31 daily candle closes. In New York that is 7:00 PM ET on December 31.
Is the monthly close the same on every exchange?
The time is the same on major crypto exchanges and TradingView crypto charts, which all use UTC months. The closing price can differ slightly between exchanges because each has its own order book.
